Care Instructions

Thank you for your Sante Grace purchase. We care about you and we care about the environment. That is why we source for the most Earth friendly, price sensitive textiles in our immediate environment. Our first quality luxury textiles are sourced from local jobbers eliminating fabric inclusion into landfills and lowering industry carbon footprints. If your garments are made with the following fabrics here’s how
you care for them. Feel free to contact us at info@santegrace.com if you have questions.
Fabrics

Silk charmeuse – Dry clean or handwash. Add two capfuls or a squirt of a gentle soap to a washbasin or sink and fill with cold water. Submerge the item and gently agitate the water. Rinse in cool water and allow to dry. Do not wring.

Denim - A good rule of thumb is to machine wash on gentle your jeans after every 3-10 wears, or when they start to smell. If you are regularly active in your jeans (think: manual work, anything where you work up a sweat), wash them every 3 wears, but if you're working at a desk, you can probably go up
to 10 wears.
Hang to air dry unless you want them to shrink.
Faux leather – Dampen a cloth or sponge in water and wipe down the article of clothing. You’ll want to use warm water. Finish by wiping the surface dry with a dry cloth.

How to Care for your Sante Grace Hat:

Thank you for purchasing your Sante Grace hat. The “brim” is one of the few items we offer that we didn’t manufacturer, but the quality is on par with the rest of our manufactured collection. Because our hats are made with wool felt and not cotton, acrylic or other synthetic fabrics; with care your brim should last for decades.

Wavy or Warped Brim:

1. Put your hat on a flat surface that can withstand a little heat. A clean kitchen countertop would
work.
2. Use your iron on steamer setting. Make sure it’s pushing out a lot of steam and lightly brush the
hot air around the brim either on the specific spot you’re trying to flatten or the “whole way
around”.
3. Immediately after steaming – and while your hat is still hot and soft take it over to the
designated surface and lay it flat.
4. Push down on the brim to make it even flatter. If your hat doesn’t have a lip you might use
heavy objects like books to help keep the brim flat.
5. Count down five minutes and voila! Your brim should be back in shape. Repeat the process as
needed until the desired shape is achieved.
